Unbolt

Perspective closed,

Scattered noise against the pane,

You’ve been mistaking shooting stars for rain.

Outside, fallen wishes dying in the dust

Received neither first nor second look.

While within, thunderclouds begin to rust.

Draw back your fears

Open up your point of view,

Recover the trampled sparks of you.

Quench the burning void with trust,

Let it wash the world to new.
